2009 has been a year full of action for the outdoor team at Kilfinane OEC with every member of management & staff taking to the skies in search of bigger water or steeper MTB trails.
In May & June staff travelled to Slovenia, Italy and France over three seperate trips for some sun & whitewater. Shortly after, at the end of June our MTB gurus travelled to France to compete in the Passportes du Soleil, an epic 75km Mountain Bike race across the French & Swiss Alps. While the rest of us settled back in to the busy July season one lucky instructor got to travel France, Slovenia & Norway in search of whitewater adventures.
Whilst being a great break away, trips such as these also offer a great chance for staff to boost their skill & experience levels and will enable us to run more advanced courses in the future.
