Accommodation:

Accommodation is provided in comfortable ensuite rooms. We have nine student rooms sleeping 6 persons each & 2 leader rooms sleeping 3 persons each. Accommodation is on 2 floors making supervision easier for mixed groups ( 4 student rooms + 1 leader room on ground floor, 5 student rooms + 1 leader room on 1st floor). Most groups choose to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow case, however duvets and bed linen can be provided for an additional charge ( duvets and bed linen are provided for group leaders).

Camping:

The Centre can also cater for Camping groups on a catered or self catering basis ( using own gas cookers/ camp stoves).

Kilfinane OETC – The ideal venue for Youth, Scout, Guide and leader training programmes:

Kilfinane Outdoor Education & Training Centre is located in the Ballyhoura region in the south east of Limerick ( Munster, Ireland). The facilities and ethos of the Centre make us the ideal venue for all youth group, youth service, scout, guide and leader training programmes. All of our staff are trained in child protection & Garda Vetted by Limerick and Clare ETB. We can provide a venue for you to run your own programme or we can facilitate activities and training for your group. Our facilities include luxury hostel style accommodation, full catering facilities, classrooms, meeting rooms, outdoor spaces.
